FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Are these quizzes accurate?
They're for entertainment. They borrow the shape of psychological frameworks like attachment theory and type indicators, but they are not validated instruments and no result is a diagnosis. Results feel accurate because the questions describe real situations — that's a reason to think about it, not a reason to treat it as clinical.
Why did I get a different result the second time?
Because you answered differently. Mood, a recent conversation, or how a week went all move a few answers. If you sit near the middle of a dimension, you'll flip between two neighboring types. The percentage bars on your result page show which dimensions were close.
Do I need an account?
No. We don't ask for a name, an email, or a phone number. Your answers live in your browser while you take the quiz and disappear when you close the tab.
Are my answers stored?
Individual answers never leave your browser. When you finish, we record only which quiz you completed and which type you got, with nothing attached that identifies you. That's what the participation counts and type percentages are built from.
Who can see the comments and reactions on a result page?
Everyone looking at that same result page. Comments are anonymous and we don't store anything that identifies the person who wrote one. Comments with abuse, spam, or someone else's personal information get removed without notice.
How do I share my result?
Tap "Share my result" and your phone's share sheet opens — Messages, Instagram, WhatsApp, whatever you use. On a computer the button copies the link instead. You can also long-press the result card image, save it, and post the image on its own.
Are the participation numbers real?
Yes. We count completed quizzes and never pad the number. Anything under a hundred shows a NEW badge instead of a count.
Can I suggest a quiz?
Email chlrhlanf3652@gmail.com. A line or two about the topic and why it would be fun is plenty.
Do you run ads?
We may run ads to keep the site free. Ad providers and analytics may set cookies in your browser; the Privacy Policy explains what they collect and how to opt out.
How old do I have to be?
Quirkly is not directed to children and is intended for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
