You're warm, you're everywhere in the group, and you don't need to be in charge of any of it. You'll go along with whatever gets decided — and in the meantime you're the one texting people between the plans, which is the part that actually keeps a friend group alive.
Groups don't dissolve because of fights. They dissolve because nobody reaches out during the quiet stretches, and you are the person who reaches out during the quiet stretches. That's not a small role. It's the whole thing.
Because you're not organizing anything, though, the work doesn't have a name. You'll be described as the nice one, which massively undersells what you're doing structurally.
The other watch-out: being the connector for everyone means you're rarely the person being checked on. You maintain, and maintenance isn't the same as being held.
