Hard edges and colors that argue. Acid tones against black, type used as decoration, screens as furniture. Your aesthetic is loud on purpose and structured on purpose, which is a combination most people can't hold at the same time.
You treat a room or an outfit like a design problem with a brief, and the brief is get noticed. It works — you're consistently the most visually interesting person in any given room, and you didn't get there by accident.
The downside is intensity fatigue. High contrast is exhausting to be around for long periods, including for you, and you're usually the last one to notice you've been living inside a poster.
Give yourself one low-stimulus zone. One room, one corner, one shelf that's allowed to be boring. You'll use it more than you expect.
