Who you are
Holographic, opalescent, wet-looking. You like things that change color when you move and materials that don't obviously exist in nature. It's optimistic in a way most aesthetics aren't — the future as something shiny rather than something bleak.
The instinct underneath is that surfaces should do something. A flat color bores you; a flat color that shifts to green at an angle does not. You notice finish before you notice shape, which is unusual and genuinely a skill.
The catch is that shine has a short half-life. Iridescent everything reads playful for about a year and then reads dated, and you tend to be a year ahead of that curve without meaning to be.
Anchor it. One matte, boring, permanent piece in every room. It buys the shiny things another few years of looking intentional.
