The Menace
Unhinged, constant, and objectively the funniest one there.
You're in it all day and everyone knows it
You're there for the material, not the logistics
Nobody can predict what you'll send at 1 a.m.
Who you are
You post constantly and none of it is useful. Screenshots with no context, a photo of a stranger's dog, a voice memo at 12:40 a.m., an opinion designed specifically to start something. You are the reason people open the chat.
There's real skill in it, even if nobody calls it that. Being reliably funny to the same eight people for years is harder than it looks, and you're doing it on demand, in a medium with no timing help.
The blind spot is calibration. When something serious lands in the chat, the room needs a different register for a minute, and the instinct to break the tension can read as not noticing. You usually did notice — you just reached for the tool you have.
Keep the chaos. Just let the serious message sit for one beat before you post. One beat is the whole adjustment.
You know it's you when…
- You've sent a voice memo after midnight with no explanation
- People open the chat specifically to see what you said
- You broke the tension when the room needed a second
