Twenty-Three
Up early, chasing everything, admin somewhere at the bottom.
An unfamiliar option is the interesting one, every time
It gets handled, but only once it is genuinely due
You are up, out and useful before the day gets loud
Who you are
You are out the door early and pointed at whatever is new, and the boring maintenance of life happens strictly at the deadline. It is the exact energy of someone in their first couple of years out of school, and it moves fast.
What this produces is range. You will have tried more things by the end of this year than most people try in five, and because you start early you actually get through them rather than just intending to. Opportunity finds people who are already awake and already moving.
The gap is that speed and novelty together leave a trail. Half-finished things, lapsed renewals, and a slowly growing pile of small obligations that each take four minutes and collectively take a weekend.
Book one hour on a Sunday for the pile. Same hour every week. It will never be more than an hour again.
You know it's you when…
- You have tried more things this year than most people try in five
- Small four-minute tasks have quietly become a weekend
- Opportunity found you because you were already awake
