Who you are
This is the rare combination where the answer isn't complicated. The job is draining you, it isn't going anywhere, and you're genuinely prepared to leave — savings, resume, contacts, a direction. Almost nobody scores this. Most people are missing at least one piece.
What's keeping you is probably not logistics. It's the sunk cost, or the loyalty to specific people, or the very human fear that leaving something bad for something unknown makes you the problem. None of that is a reason. All of it is normal.
One caution worth naming: leaving while running on empty means you'll be interviewing while exhausted, and exhausted people take the first offer. Give yourself a defined runway and be selective inside it — you've earned the right to be picky.
Set an actual date. Not "soon." A date. This decision has been made for a while; what's left is the scheduling.
