The Sun
Everyone gets the same warmth. You don't pick favorites.
Growth. Starting things and pushing upward.
Warmth. Being seen and lighting up a room.
Steadiness. Holding people and plans together.
Edge. Standards, decisions, cutting what's extra.
Depth. Reading the room and finding a way around.
Who you are
Yang Fire — 丙, byeong — is the sun. Not a fire in a fireplace, the actual sun: huge, bright, and shining on everybody the same. That's you in a room. You don't warm up to people so much as you're already warm when they arrive.
You're generous without keeping score, loud in the good way, and physically unable to let a gathering stay awkward. When things get dark — a bad week, a breakup, a group that's fallen apart — you're the one who shows up and makes it feel like morning again.
The downside of shining on everyone is that it's hard to hide anything. Your moods are weather, and everyone can see the forecast. You also burn through things fast: excitement, patience, sometimes plans. The sun doesn't do slow.
The quiet skill worth learning is setting. Even the sun goes down every night, and nobody thinks less of it. You're allowed to be off.
You know it's you when…
- The party was dying and ten minutes after you walked in it wasn't
- Everyone knew your mood before you'd said a single word
- You got excited, told everyone, and moved on by Thursday
