The Rain
You notice everything. You just don't announce it.
Growth. Starting things and pushing upward.
Warmth. Being seen and lighting up a room.
Steadiness. Holding people and plans together.
Edge. Standards, decisions, cutting what's extra.
Depth. Reading the room and finding a way around.
Who you are
Yin Water — 癸, gye — is the last of the ten day masters: rain, mist, morning dew. The ocean is loud; you're quiet and you get everywhere. You pick up on moods, subtext and whatever someone isn't saying long before anyone else in the room does.
People often feel understood around you without knowing why. You're imaginative, perceptive and gentle, and you have a way of knowing what a friend needs before they've figured it out themselves. You're also the one who saw the plan changing and already had a backup.
Rain soaks into things. You absorb the atmosphere around you, good and bad, and you tend to go quiet and process instead of saying what bothered you. A comment someone forgot five minutes later can live in your head for days.
The thing worth doing is letting some of it out. You don't have to storm. Just say the one thing out loud before it turns into weather.
You know it's you when…
- You knew they were upset before they said a single word
- Someone forgot a comment in five minutes. You're still thinking about it
- A friend said you understood them better than they understood themselves
