The Vine
You don't break through walls. You grow around them.
Growth. Starting things and pushing upward.
Warmth. Being seen and lighting up a room.
Steadiness. Holding people and plans together.
Edge. Standards, decisions, cutting what's extra.
Depth. Reading the room and finding a way around.
Who you are
Yin Wood — 乙, eul — is the second day master, and saju draws it as a vine, a flower, a climbing plant. Where the tall tree goes straight up, you find the gap in the fence. You're every bit as determined, you just don't waste energy on the parts of the wall that won't move.
This makes you quietly one of the most resourceful people in any room. You know who to ask. You know which door is actually unlocked. You've probably connected at least three pairs of people who now owe you a favor and don't fully realize it.
People sometimes mistake your flexibility for having no spine. It's the opposite: vines are famously hard to get rid of. You bend to keep going, not to give in, and the person who reads your easygoing surface as a pushover usually learns that slowly.
The trap is leaning so much on support — a person, a structure, a situation — that you forget you'd survive without it. You would. Vines outlive the fences they climb.
You know it's you when…
- You got it done through a side door nobody else knew existed
- Two friends of yours met through you and now hang out without you
- Someone called you easygoing right before you refused to let it go
